My boyfriend and I rent out a silver studio room on dual occupancy and the price we pay to live in the centre of Glasgow is so cheap considering the high standard of St Mungos. The building has a lively vibe and there's always something on in the social spaces, due mostly to the upkeep of things like the pool table and table tennis, as in other student accommodations these things can fall quickly in to disrepair. everything else is awesome, Best review ðIf you choose to come stay here then you definetly aren't stupid :) We're here day and night and whoever you are i'm sure we'll love seeing you back. So, I truly recommend this place because is like a second home. Chinese students make up the majority of our residents so the idea that we wouldn't allow chinese people inside is very dissapointing to hear, especially that it's simply not true. She also got me and my mum a bottle of water and some biscuits/sweets to keep our sugar levels up when we said we had not had any food. I meet many friends here and can still relaxation in my room if I want. its also really easy to meet friends with the activities put on by the staff. A home away from home. Nadia (Who is also asian fyi ) is always putting on events to welcome people from all backgrounds at St.Mungos. Would recommend loving here for sure. St mungo is a great accommodation for any year of study, catering to all and has great WiFi & facilities. If you ever want to come down for a chat we're here 24 hours a day, all year round. As for where you will live, we have 5 properties located right … Student Roost - St Mungo's . Managers here are not responsible, when students encounter problems they won’t fix it but muddle through. The staff have kept asking us to be patient. Thank you for such a meaningful review of us! Wow! We appreciate that it has taken longer than it should have to resolve the problems with the boiler, I have spoken today with the area manager on the phone and he has assured me that we will be looking at issuing compensation and will be in contact in due course in relation to this. We do try our best to keep everything as clean as possible and our team are always on the lookout for anything otherwise, although you are right and it's an effort everyone should make when sharing a living space for any length of time. Staff varies in usefulness, sometimes got told different things by different staff (for example, one told me that they couldn't give more than one key even for dual tenancy, but another said I'd be able to get one).
