While crowded (good for them!) Sites are a bit close but still ok. We will return if the government is shut down or gulpha gorge is full. Staff was very friendly and polite, and our fellow visitors were equally polite (no loud late-night parties etc). Thanks for coming down to join us here at Hot Springs National Park KOA for your first RV trip, Angela. They were thrilled. They lost a star bc the tent spot I was placed at had a lot of small trash and cigarette/joint discards which made me aware that it hadn't been raked in a while. We were escorted to our camp site, given directions to the closest grocery store and made sure we didn't have any more questions before moving on.
We will be back for longer next time as we just needed the afternoon to explore the Hot Springs National Park on our way back home to Texas!

The staff at KOA here are wonderfully nice people who care about their jobs and it shows. They let us choose from the last two spots and we loved our site!

Gravel sites, some back and some pull thrus. Our arrival papers stated they had the package and if we were going to leave the next day before the office open to call this number and a lady would bring it to me.

It was hot that day but there was plenty of shade and the water was nice.
Then, bad luck hit our little tent. There were dozens of them when we tried to eat outside but that is by no means a reflection on the park.
Nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, Hot Springs National Park KOA offers a great place to stay when visiting this truly unique city. Nice to have transportation to downtown area and being picked back up later! I would recommend for both RV and tent camping. He was the only less friendly person we encountered. We stayed one night as planned as we were just passing through. , pool (kids loved the pool) and everyone was so friendly!
I was so thankful, having been worried how in the world I was going to get this package and still leave early. While we have no way to determine if this was actually the cause, we wanted to be proactive. The bathrooms were nice had actual hot showers, noise was minimal, and people seemed to respect quiet hours. Lots of fishing to be done too.
I can't say enough about how great the staff is.

Please do not use any of the pillows that are outdoors. Sites have plenty of room to enjoy with friends & family.

A beautiful place to stay at and everyone that works there was wonderful and super friendly! A cozy site to relax & enjoy nature. It was just the time of year and could happen anywhere. Everyone was friendly and helpful, they have an on demand shuttle to the downtown area for $5 round trip, just call when you want to be picked up.

If using a GPS unit, type in "Hot Springs National Park" as the city sometimes this works better. We were there 6 days and would go back in a second.
